Website and Waitlist Privacy Notice
Effective August 31, 2026 · Private-alpha waitlist
Plain English: this public site asks for an email address so Overture can manage its private-alpha waitlist. We do not sell waitlist information, use it for behavioral advertising, or use it to train AI models.
1. Who operates this site
This notice is provided by [production operator name required], operating as “Overture,” at [production contact address required]. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to [production contact email required].
2. What this notice covers
This notice covers Overture’s public marketing pages, waitlist form and invite-code handoff. It does not govern the private Overture application. People invited into the application receive the product’s then-current privacy notice and terms before using it.
3. Information collected
- Waitlist information: the email address you submit and whether the address is new to the list.
- Invite handoff: if you enter an invite code, the site sends it to the private application for validation. The marketing site does not approve or redeem it.
- Request and security information: IP address, browser and device information, requested page, timestamp, referrer, campaign parameters, and limited security or error logs produced by the hosting and application infrastructure.
- Abuse-prevention signals: the hidden anti-bot field, request timing, and—if enabled—a Cloudflare Turnstile response.
4. How information is used
- place you on the private-alpha waitlist and avoid duplicate entries;
- send waitlist, approval or invitation messages;
- hand an invite code to the private application at your request;
- secure, troubleshoot and measure the reliability of the site and signup flow; and
- comply with law and address fraud, abuse or rights complaints.
5. Service providers and disclosure
The waitlist is processed by Overture’s backend and Clerk. Hosting, content-delivery, email, security and error-monitoring providers may process the minimum information needed to provide those services. Google Fonts may receive ordinary network-request information when fonts load, and Cloudflare may process security information if Turnstile is enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not provide waitlist information to train AI models.
6. Retention
We keep a waitlist email while the private-alpha waitlist is operating and as needed to manage invitations, unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Limited security, delivery and suppression records may remain as needed to prevent abuse, honor an opt-out, resolve a dispute or comply with law. Backups age out through the applicable backup cycle.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete your waitlist information, or withdraw from the waitlist, by emailing [production contact email required]. We may verify a request before acting. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
8. Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track
This site does not run behavioral advertising or cross-site profiling. Essential storage or similar technology may be used for security and site operation. Because Overture does not track visitors across unrelated sites for advertising, a browser Do Not Track signal does not change the site’s behavior. Third-party service providers process data only as described above.
9. Children
The waitlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 submitted an address.
10. Security, changes and contact
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to a founder-stage private alpha, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. We may update this notice as the site, providers or law change. The effective date identifies the current version.
Contact: [production contact email required].
Deployment gate: the source copy intentionally contains visible operator placeholders. Production cannot build until the founder supplies the real operator/contact facts and records a founder- or counsel-approved review reference.
